Question: Is a red lotus flower tatoo ok for a man?

I am getting my children's names across my forearm at the top, the names will be about10mm high and in between them I was wondering whether to get the flower which will be about 10mm x 10mm( the flower is the Buddhist symbol for love and commpassion.

I think you should get what you like regardless of perception. However, personally I wouldn't get a red lotus flower as I just don't think it would look right. Its a nice thought either way Steve

If I met a man who had a lotus flower tattooed on his arm I would automatically think that person to be a spirtual and kindly soul. Have your tat, you are the one that knows the meaning behind it, and it is lovely!! Namaste

Sure, it's one of the few flowering plants I would recommend for a man. It's popular with men who get a Eastern theme.

I have a japanese themed sleeve and it has 2 lotus in it. i think they look great but i would wouldn't i! maybe go a bit bigger...
